About the Severn Valley Petanque League

The Severn Valley Petanque League as the name suggests is located in the Severn Valley region and has been active for some considerable time. We are not affiliated to the British Petanque Federation at pmapresent. The SVPL currently run a Summer League with matches being played on a Tuesday evening. If you don’t really know about Petanque then take a look at the section of our site which gives an overview of the game of Petanque. We also run team, triples, singles, doubles and mixed doubles knockout competitions during the Summer League season.

The Summer League comprises 2 leagues made up of 18 teams. The 18 teams are located in the Stourbridge, Kinver, Bridgnorth, Kidderminster and Bewdley areas. The map attached shows the location of the teams. All are connected to a Pub or Club.

The Severn Valley Petanque League Committee provides an effective administrative structure which enables the League to thrive. We are always looking for new players and new teams. For details on how to contact the SVPL committee please go to our contacts section.

Our Club pages section provides further information about individual clubs.
