About SVPL
Severn Valley Petanque League as the name suggests is located in the Severn Valley region and has been active for some considerable time, we are not affiliated to the British Petanque Federation at present.The SVPL currently run a Summer League with matches being played on a Tuesday evening. We also run team, triples, singles, doubles and mixed doubles knockout competitions during the Summer League season

Mac Turner Team Knockout 2024
The pool stages are now completed, matches for knockout phases has been drawn. The following teams will play in the 1/4 finals on Tuesday 3rd September

- Nomads v Lakes Phoenix
- Lakes Renegades v Kinver Con Club
- Oaks v Lakes Admirals

Entry is now open for Competitions during the 2024 season:
- Singles Knockout
- Doubles Knockout
- Triples Knockout (Sunday 18th August, Little Lakes)
- Barbara Parkes Tropy (Sunday 1st September, Alveley Social Club)
- SVPL Presidents Cup (Tuesday 9th July, Bewdley Cricket Club)
- Bewdley Presidents Cup (Sunday 14th July, Bewdley Cricket Club)

2024 League
- The league itself will be split into 2 divisions of 7 teams.
- The 1st and 2nd placed division 2 teams from the 2023 season will be promoted and the team that finished bottom of division 1 in 2023 will be relegated
- The League fixtures will start on Tuesday 7th May
- Each team will play 12 games and have 2 evenings with no league fixtures
